Drago \u017dupari\u0107-Ilji\u0107"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.portalnovosti.com\/img\/media\/image\/ayvovhiva4bq3oadx3j47wiefz1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"355\" height=\"221\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Drago \u017dupari\u0107-Ilji\u0107 (\u017dupanja, 1981) graduated in Sociology and History in 2005 at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. He obtained his Ph.D. at the same faculty in 2015 with the thesis <em>The Influence of Environmental Change on (Non)Voluntary Migrations<\/em>. From 2009 to 2018 he was employed at the Institute for Migration and Ethnic Studies in Zagreb, at first as a research assistant and later as a research associate. He was the president of the scientific council of the Institute for several months. Since 2018, he has worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, where he holds courses at the B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. levels. As an author or co-author, he has published about twenty research and professional articles in the field of migration and refugee studies, national minorities, citizenships, integration policies etc. He edited the first collection dealing with the asylum system in Croatia (2013). He is the co-author of the three monograph publication, among which the last one is <em>Izazovi integracije izbjeglica u hrvatsko dru\u0161tvo: stavovi gra\u0111ana i pripremljenost lokalnih zajednica<\/em> (together with Dean Ajdukovi\u0107, Dinko \u010corkalo Biru\u0161ki, Margareta Gregurovi\u0107, Jelena Mati\u0107 Boji\u0107, 2019). He participated in two research projects funded by the Croatian Ministry of Science, Education and Sport: National Minorities in Croatia and Euro-integration Processes and The Influence of Migration on Regional Development in Croatia. He was a co-coordinator and researcher on the research project Migrant Integration Policy Index (MIPEX) funded by the Brussels Migration Policy Group. He is a national coordinator and administrator of the program European Web-Site on Integration: Croatia by the European Commission.
